Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of wooden and other material structures.
The position requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency to ensure high-quality workmanship on all projects.
Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble bespoke joinery using hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment.
* Carry out carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials with precision
* Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate smooth workflow
* Assist in site preparation and ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised
* Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, or joinery
* Proficiency with hand tools.
* Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and sanders
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights if necessary
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential for experienced candidates
