My client is an established manufacturer within the consumer product and appliance sector, supplying both internal divisions and global brand/OEM customers. They are currently looking for a talented Graduate Industrial Designer to support concept development, product styling and early-stage design work across multiple projects.
The Role – Graduate Industrial Designer:
Supporting design activities from initial sketching through to concept refinement
Producing high-quality 2D and 3D design proposals for internal teams and external customers
Generating creative ideas, exploring new product directions, and contributing to early concept phases
Conducting research into materials, product trends, consumer insights and innovative features
Assisting with basic modelling, visualisation and prototyping. Minimum Skills / Experience Required – Graduate Industrial Designer:
Degree (2:1 or above) in Industrial Design or Product Design
Strong understanding of industrial design principles and trend awareness
Confident in producing design proposals from sketch through to concept
Experience with prototyping
CAD package experience, SolidWorks or Inventor, is essential.
Rhino or Blender experience is desirable. The Package – Graduate Industrial Designer:
