Meadows Nursery is a small, family run business situated in a prime location next to the Meadows which allows us to make full use of the local amenities. We open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with winter closure.
We are currently looking for an energetic, motivated and forward thinking and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
A Meadows Nursery Practitioner is responsible for providing a friendly, loving, safe and stimulating environment for the children in their care, with emphasis on responsive care and extending the children's learning.
Ideal candidate
* Should be caring, nurturing and passionate
* Should have a great sense of fun and good interpersonal skills
* Should be respectful communicators
* Great team player and motivator
* Must have excellent organisational skills and proactive problem solver
* Who is passionate for outdoor learning
* Must have sound knowledge of children's development and working experience with current legislative requirements (E.g. Health & Social Care Standards; SSSC Code of Practice; GIRFEC; Realising + Building the Ambition; Prebirth to 3; Curriculum for Excellence)
* have previous experience working with children aged 0-5s (preferably over 2 years' experience)
* have relevant childcare qualification (HNC or SVQ level 3 equivalent)

This post is a full time position over 4 days with a flexible day off each week depending on business needs.
All successful candidates must undertake a PVG check, provide two references prior to starting and be registered with SSSC within 6 months.
