Due to continued growth, We now have an opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to strengthen the operations senior team, who will focus on improving, planning, purchasing and inventory management to maximise business potential.
About the role:
As Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of fleet parts and will be responsible for:
* Developing, improving, and implementing procurement processes and supply chain strategy that will support business growth.
* Manage the Demand Planning process.
* Continuously reviewing fleet parts requirements and identifying potential supplier sources
* Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to optimise procurement processes and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Preparing, reviewing and managing supplier and vendor contracts
* Monitoring procurement budgets and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
* Identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service
* Risk Management by assessing and mitigating potential risks associated with the procurement process
* Developing contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions or unforeseen events
* Regularly evaluate procurement processes and identify areas for improvement
* Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Manage team performance and development.
To be successful in this Supply Chain Manager role based at Brighouse, you should have:
* Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain management role
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
* Knowledge of procurement and supply chain software.
* Proficient in contract management and supplier performance evaluation
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
* Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies
* Strong business acumen and understanding of financial implications in procurement decisions
