Be part of a dynamic team on our Chemotherapy Day Unit based at Good Hope Hospital. We provide an efficient and compassionate administration service for the Haematology and Oncology team within a busy hospital environment. Managing clinic appointments and booking treatments in line with the cancer pathways, ensuring effective communication between patients, nurses, consultants and the wider multidisciplinary teams is coordinated throughout the working environment.
The post holder is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, supporting the day‑to‑day running of the unit and helping deliver a high standard of care for patients undergoing cancer treatments. The role requires excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload in a fast‑paced environment. Booking appointments, dealing with telephone enquiries, having an empathetic approach when dealing with patients and relatives. Must be able to work within a team and be able to work on own initiative.
Assist with all other general office duties.
