What will you do?
You will play and test games, focusing on identifying linguistic bugs and reporting them clearly using bug databases. Effective communication in English is essential as you will collaborate across global boundaries.
What would you do at work?
* Ensure games and applications are free of linguistic bugs to provide the best user experience
* Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy, correctness, and cultural appropriateness
* Follow Universally Speaking's LQA processes and standards, optimized over years to industry excellence
* Use bug databases to write detailed reports that highlight your commitment to quality
* Own and verify bug fixes to ensure proper implementation
* Become an LQA Expert across various projects and specializations
* Create, manage, and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle, including documentation and reporting
* Participate in gathering test requirements with developers to support feature testing
* Proactively seek improvements and efficiencies in your work
* Collaborate with the QA team

Requirements
You are a great match if you:
* Are an expert in Croatian
* Proficient in written and spoken English
* Passionate about video games
* Work well under pressure within tight deadlines
* Proactive, persistent, and enthusiastic
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
* Computer literate, familiar with MS Office Suite and database handling
* Have the Right to Work in the UK
It’s useful if you have some of the following, but we can teach you:
* Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading
* Experience with LQA software tools, including test case management and text editing tools
* Knowledge of CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ)
* Understanding of the video game industry and trends
* Higher degree in linguistics (desirable but not essential)
