Junior Commercial Manager – Queens Hospital, Romford
Salary: £43,000 – £47,000 per annum
Bonus: Up to 10%

About the Role
We’re seeking a talented and driven Junior Commercial Manager to join our Hard FM (Estates) team at Queens Hospital, Romford. Working as part ofSodexo’s Health & Care segment, you’ll play a key role in managing thecommercial and contractual performance of our healthcare estate operations.
This role is idealfor a commercially astute professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment,enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about driving value and complianceacross complex PFI contracts.
What You’ll Do
Support theUK Commercial ManagerandHead of Estatesin delivering all commercial and contractual obligations.
Lead on commercial communication with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Oversee supply chain performance, ensuring value for money and compliance with contractual requirements.
Manage site-specificrisk registersand ensure risks are effectively controlled and communicated.
Provide commercial and contractual advice to the operational estates team.
Ensure documentation, audit trails, and compliance logs are accurate and up to date.
Review and implement performance-measured supply chain models for optimal efficiency.
Support lifecycle and project delivery within thePFI environment, ensuring commercial viability and operational compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Degree (BSc or equivalent) inBusiness Management,Engineering, or a related discipline.
Professional membership (e.g.,RICS,CIMA, orACCA) preferred.
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
Excellent written, numerical, and verbal communication.
Strong understanding ofHealth & SafetyandPFI/Hard FM contracts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital systems (CAFM/BMS).
Able to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.
