Senior User Researcher – Government Health Service Project

💰 Up to £400/day Outside IR35
We’re looking for a Senior User Researcher to lead research for a government-backed Digital Health Protection Service. You’ll ensure the system meets real-world needs by planning and delivering research across diverse audiences, from public health teams and local authorities to laboratories and the public.
What you’ll bring
* Extensive experience leading research on large-scale digital or service transformation projects, ideally in health or public sector.
* Skilled in qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, diary studies, focus groups) and quantitative approaches (surveys, analytics).
* Able to turn research findings into actionable insights, personas, and evidence for design and policy.
* Experience integrating research into agile delivery and backlog prioritisation.
* Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, engaging participants at all levels.
* Familiarity with tools such as UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, Miro, MS Teams.
* Commitment to accessibility, inclusion and Government digital standards.
