A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 48-year-old man living in the Mountain Ash area, I have downs syndrome and dementia. The role will be to ensure my safety during the night, I need someone to sit in my room while I sleep, I tend to get up 2-3 times to use the bathroom, I would also like the PA to cover holidays and sickness
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To sit and support through the night in the home.
HOURS OF WORK
1 evening a week 10pm til 7am this is a waking night role.
Plus to cover any annual leave so additional hours are available.
RATES OF PAY
£15.00 per hour
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
1. Sitting with me during the whole night
2. Making sure I get to the bathroom and back to my bed safely

ABOUT THE JOB
This will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay. This post is subject to an enhanced police check (DBS) and training may be required if identified by the employer.
