Steele Charles is proud to be partnering exclusively with a trusted UK provider of safety and compliance solutions to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, customer-focused business that delivers expert safety management support to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping organisations maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and compliance.
The Role
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for your customers — providing practical, hands-on support across a range of safety management, auditing, and training activities.
Working closely with internal teams and directly with clients, you will:
* Undertake a programme of site audits and inspections across customer locations
* Review and enhance existing Health & Safety processes and documentation
* Deliver risk assessments, including fire risk assessments, and produce clear, actionable reports
* Advise on incident investigation and accident prevention measures
* Support customers in meeting their training and compliance requirements
* Provide user support for online safety management and training platforms
About You
* Proven experience in Health & Safety management, ideally across multi-site operations
* Recognised qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A proactive, confident approach with the ability to influence at all levels
* Practical understanding of risk management and compliance best practice
The Offer
* Salary up to £30,000 (DOE) + 10% car allowance
* Non-contributory pension
* 20 days annual leave + public holidays plus your birthday off

* 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday
* Hybrid working model, with regular onsite presence required
