Global M&A Leader – Pharmaceutical Industry

Walker Cole International is supporting a global pharmaceutical business in the appointment of a Global M&A Leader to drive its strategic acquisition pipeline and long‑term growth agenda.
The successful candidate will shape and execute the organisation’s M&A strategy across key therapeutic and technology areas, leading end‑to‑end deal activity from opportunity identification and valuation through to negotiation, due diligence, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and refine global M&A strategy aligned with business strategy
* Lead sourcing, assessment, and execution of acquisition and partnership opportunities
* Oversee due diligence
* Support strategic decision‑making at executive level
Experience Required:
* Proven track record leading complex M&A transactions in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector
* Strong understanding of drug development, commercial models, and asset valuation
* Executive‑level stakeholder management and negotiation experience
* Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment
