Head of Sustainability (Permanent)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Sustainability to join a growing construction and development organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a senior, strategic role with genuine influence, responsible for shaping and delivering a group-wide sustainability and ESG strategy during a key period of growth. You will play a pivotal role in driving sustainability, social value, and net carbon initiatives across a diverse UK-wide business, working closely with senior leadership and acting as a visible ambassador for sustainability both internally and externally. This role is ideal for an established sustainability leader looking to take ownership of a group-wide strategy, influence at the highest level, and make a tangible impact across communities and the built environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the organisation's sustainability and ESG strategy
* Drive social value and net carbon initiatives across the group
* Influence senior stakeholders and support long-term strategic decision-making
* Engage with operational sites, business units, and external partners
* Represent the business on sustainability and social value matters
Benefits
* Car Allowance: £5,500

Key Requirements
* Proven experience developing and delivering sustainability and ESG strategies
* Strong stakeholder management and senior leadership influencing skills
* Passion for sustainability, social value, construction, and community engagement
* Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
* CSCS card (desirable or willingness to work towards)
