Private Client Solicitor sought for a successful Milton Keynes law firm.
An established law firm with a growing client base the department is looking for a solicitor who thrives delivering excellent work.
They are seeking a committed and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well‑established Private Client team. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload including Wills, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, Tax Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters.
The Role
* Drafting, preparing and executing Wills and Codicils.
* Advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
* Handling Probate applications, Grants of Probate/Letters of Administration, and full estate administration.
* Advising on and administering Trusts, including lifetime trusts and post death arrangements.
* Providing inheritance tax, capital gains tax and general estate planning advice.
* Supporting and advising elderly clients in a sensitive and professional manner.
* Maintaining excellent client care and communication, ensuring all work complies with regulatory and firm standards.
* Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong referrer relationships.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (ideally 5+ PQE) or CILEX Fellows.
* Experience across a broad range of Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, LPAs and Trusts.
* STEP qualification beneficial but not essential (reflective of market expectations).
* Experience of HNW clients.
* Strong technical ability, excellent communication skills, and a client focused approach.
* Ability to manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision.
