Job Title: Department Administrator / Executive Assistant
Reports to: Department Director / Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Department Director/Manager. This role is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of departmental operations and contributes directly to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Director/Manager to manage daily administrative tasks, including preparing reports, handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing diaries and emails.

Prepare and format documents such as letters, memos, Board reports, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Liaise with internal teams and Head Office to maintain effective communication and workflow across departments.
*
Monitor departmental expenditure and support cost management activities.
*
Carry out general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and handling telephone enquiries.
*
Act as the main point of contact for apprentice enrolment and day-to-day engagement (if applicable).
*
Maintain and update departmental holiday and sickness planners.
*
Manage the Department Director’s diary, ensuring meetings and commitments are effectively coordinated.

Provide ad hoc administrative support to other departments as required.
