Job Summary
This role requires an individual capable of working alongside physiotherapists, providing independent clinical work, specialised support, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will support clients with complex needs, manage caseloads, motivate and educate patients and carers, and promote healthy lifestyles while addressing health inequalities.
Main Duties
* Deliver independent clinical care and skilled support for learning disability patients.
* Administer administrative and clerical duties related to patient care.
* Support therapists in managing complex cases and caseloads.
* Provide individual and group sessions involving physical activities.
* Motivate and educate patients and their carers to adopt healthier lifestyle changes.
* Adapt communication for clients with complex behavioural needs and respect diversity.

Person Specification
* Essential
o GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or above or equivalent.
o Basic literacy and numeracy.
o Full driving licence or ability to travel independently.
o Experience of care work.
o Verbal, non‑verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work under instruction without direct supervision.
o Will and ability to learn new skills including handling and IT.
