Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Trainee Locksmith based in Brighton. Responsibilities include Key Cutting, assisting with installing and repairing locks, conducting routine maintenance, and performing locksmithing tasks under supervision. The role also involves learning and applying skills in millwork, welding, and other repair and maintenance-related activities. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training in a professional and supportive environment. You will also spend time on the road with our engineers.
Qualifications
* Foundational understanding or a willingness to learn Locksmithing practices and techniques
* Familiarity with basic Maintenance and Repair work
* Knowledge of or interest in Welding and metalwork processes
* Skills or experience in Millwork and related tasks
* Ability to work diligently on-site and adapt to various technical challenges
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Eagerness to learn and engage in professional training
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally, if required
