3. No uniform policy – be yourself at work
4. Ongoing professional development and clear progression opportunities
5. A supportive leadership team that values your voice
6. Pension scheme, financial hardship fund, and wellbeing investment
7. Shopping discounts and a free Blue Light Card
8. Recommend a Friend bonus scheme
9. Paid DBS application

We reinvest every penny of our profits into the people we support, our colleagues, and our communities. With over national and regional awards in the past two years, we’re proud to be pioneers in social care and champions of innovation.

We’re also committed to inclusion through our “A Place I Belong” strategy – ensuring every colleague feels respected, celebrated, and able to bring their whole self to work.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

In this service, you’ll be supporting a vibrant and diverse group of individuals aged between 54 and 76. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and support needs—which is exactly what makes this role so rewarding.

Some people are fully mobile, while others may need a little physical assistance to move around their home or enjoy trips out in the community. Some individuals mobilise using wheelchairs. The people you’ll support live with a range of conditions including Dementia, Autism, and Learning Disabilities, and our experienced staff team is well-trained in providing tailored, compassionate care.

You’ll be helping people enjoy the things they love—from attending day centres and going shopping, to relaxing with a Disney movie or getting creative with arts and crafts. Trips to the seaside, scenic drives, and lunches at local pubs or garden centres are regular favourites.

The people we support are fun-loving, kind, and caring, and also value their own personal space. Some are non-verbal, so being able to offer choices and communicate in a way that suits each individual is essential. You’ll be guided by personalised care plans and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to ensure everyone receives the best possible care.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference—like a hand massage, having nails painted, or simply being listened to. Your patience, understanding, and ability to respond to each person’s unique needs will be key to helping them live happy, fulfilling lives.

Having a FULL UK Manual Driving licence is essential, as is being willing to drive our minibus to take the people we support to and from their activities. Being fit and able to carry out moving and handling care and support, this (includes hoisting and manual wheelchairs) is also a requirement.

Your values:

We’re looking for someone who shares our core values:

10. We Include – embracing diversity and promoting equality
11. We Deliver – taking pride in high-quality, consistent care
12. We Aspire – always looking to grow and improve
13. We Respect – treating everyone with dignity and kindness
14. We Enable – empowering people to live their best lives

You’ll also bring personal qualities that make a difference:

15. Patience and empathy
16. Compassion and sensitivity
17. A strong work ethic and reliability
18. Honesty and determination
19. Problem-solving skills and resilience

If this sounds like the role and organisation you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
