Bank Housekeeper Housekeeping - Campania ARBD Care Home Contract: Bank Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 0 Campania is a spacious Victorian care home located in Weston super Mare, just a short walk from the seafront and pier. The home provides specialist support for adults living with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff’s syndrome and Alcohol Related Brain Damage, supporting up to 49 residents in a calm and respectful environment. We are looking for a reliable and committed Bank Housekeeper to support the home by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role plays an important part in creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. What We Offer £12.21 per hour Bank zero hours contract Pension Paid annual leave Uniform provided What You Will Do As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the care home, ensuring all communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and facilities are clean, safe and well presented. You will carry out domestic cleaning duties in line with infection prevention and control procedures, including cleaning floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas. You will support laundry services when required, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are handled safely, respectfully and in line with guidance. You will remove waste appropriately, follow health and safety and fire safety procedures at all times, and work closely with the wider team to ensure the home remains a pleasant and comfortable place to live. About You You will take pride in your work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a care environment. You will be reliable, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
