This is a commercially focused role combining underwriting expertise, broker relationship management, and portfolio strategy.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of complex underwriting decisions while playing a key role in driving profitable growth across a specialist schemes portfolio. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll help shape underwriting strategy and strengthen key broker partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Underwrite complex risks and manage referrals across the schemes portfolio
* Drive profitable growth through portfolio and underwriting strategy
* Build and manage key broker relationships
* Identify emerging risks and opportunities to maintain market position
Qualifications:
* 5+ years’ underwriting experience within commercial lines (ideally property)
* ACII qualified or working towards
* Strong decision-making, influencing, and negotiation skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to handle complex cases
