Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with expertise in assisted living, nursing home experience, and dementia care. This role requires exceptional leadership and management skills to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care.
* Supervise and support staff, providing training and guidance to ensure effective medication administration and overall resident care.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of all residents.
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care, staff performance, and operational procedures.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary to enhance quality of life.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a senior care setting, preferably in assisted living or nursing homes.
* Strong background in nursing or healthcare management with a focus on elderly care.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory skills.
* In-depth knowledge of dementia care practices and medication administration protocols.
* Exceptional communication skills for liaising with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* A compassionate approach to caregiving with an emphasis on respect for residents' dignity and individuality.
