Technical Lead Java & Angular (Leeds, UK | Hybrid 3 days in office | Full Time) Lead an agile, multi disciplinary digital team, balancing hands on development with technical leadership. Work on Java (Spring Boot) and AngularJS / TypeScript codebases, delivering new features with Product Owners and Architects. Use AWS services: ECR, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Apigee. Work with tooling : GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, SonarQube / Fortify on Demand, Cypress / Selenium, Karate / Cucumber, Jest. Define and enforce engineering best practices : code reviews, CI/CD, quality checks, and testing standards. Support live services during office hours: identify, troubleshoot, and fix issues collaboratively. Mentor and coach junior developers, improving team capability and technical maturity. Must have graduate level qualification (or equivalent) in Computing / Computer Science or related field. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate is mandatory.
