About the Role
As Technical Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the Southern operations. You’ll lead, mentor and inspire a talented technical team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest industry standards.
Your responsibilities will range from day-to-day operational management to strategic business development. You’ll oversee a variety of projects including asbestos surveys, analytical works and removal programmes, while ensuring full compliance with ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 standards.
Collaboration will be key to your success. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the national network to deliver exceptional service and uphold their reputation for quality, integrity and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
9. Lead, coach and develop the technical team across the South region
10. Manage a diverse portfolio of asbestos and environmental projects
11. Ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance in all operations
12. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and supporting growth
13. Work with senior management to deliver company-wide initiatives and continuous improvement
About You
You’ll bring a strong background in the asbestos industry and a passion for leadership and quality. You’ll be confident managing both people and projects, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance technical oversight with commercial awareness.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
14. BOHS qualifications (P402-P405, W505 or CoCA)
15. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the asbestos sector
16. Proven leadership skills and commercial understanding
17. Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
18. Full UK driving licence
