A multi-award-winning provider of data protection, cybersecurity, cloud storage, and IT solutions is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.
Since the 1980s, the company has supported mid-market organisations (200-10,000 users), evolving from traditional IT infrastructure to deliver modern services such as penetration testing, compliance and risk management, cyber awareness training, and a flagship data protection platform that combines leading software, secure storage, and cloud recovery capabilities.
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and tenacious individual eager to develop and succeed in sales. The role involves both new business development and account growth, with strong earning potential through uncapped commission.
Key duties include:
1. Selling the full breadth of the company’s IT solutions and services
2. Acquiring, qualifying, and winning new business
3. Retaining and expanding existing customer relationships
4. Farming existing accounts to identify whitespace opportunities
5. Generating, qualifying, and following up on quotes and opportunities
6. Driving cybersecurity and datacentre solutions
7. Achieving GP and KPI targets
8. Booking and conducting face-to-face meetings with clients
9. Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast data
10. Building strong relationships with distributors and vendor partners
11. Collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns
12. Continuously improving industry knowledge through training
Attributes Required
13. Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT reseller sales
14. Proven track record in account management and business development
15. Understanding of IT security, datacentre, networking, EUC, and hardware/software
16. Strong negotiation and communication skills
17. Confident and proactive approach to outbound sales
18. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
