Laurel Ward specialises in delivering high-quality care for patients with oncological and gastroenterology conditions. The team collaborates with the MDT to provide individualised, compassionate, and high-standard care to our patients. We are seeking to recruit dedicated nurses with expertise and inspiring nursing skills who can make a difference.
You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care, with opportunities to enhance your skills, knowledge, and experience. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. We encourage our new team members to develop and actively participate in improving the unit and patient care.
Supported by the Practice Development team, you will receive a thorough induction and a tailored orientation programme, along with a period of supernumerary practice. All newly qualified nurses will be offered our accredited preceptorship programme. We actively promote continuing professional development and post-registration education through in-house study days and courses at local universities to support your nursing career growth.
The post holder may be required to work at any of the Trust's sites based on service needs. Responsibilities must be carried out with regard to the Trust’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
