This weing and supportive primary school in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team for the remainder of the summer term. The school is part of an Academy Trust,mitted to providing a high quality education alongside strong pastoral provision. They strive to provide pupils with a wide range of memorable experiences alongside a progressive topic-led curriculum, enabling pupils to be lifelong, motivated learners with a thirst for knowledge.
Your new role As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2. You will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects, covering Key Stage 2 classes for 4 afternoons and 1 morning each week. Planning time will be provided, to ensure high-quality delivery. You will also support classroom teachers, contribute to pupil progress, and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
What you'll need to succeed
1. HLTA status or equivalent qualification
2. Classroom experience in a primary setting
3. Proven experience working within KS2
4. Confidence in delivering whole class lessons independently
5. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
6. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different classes
7. Sound understanding of safeguarding and school procedures
