BAE SYSTEMS Surface Ships -Hunter class Frigate
BAE Systems Naval ships are loolking for an Electrical Engineer with the following experience:
• Preferably a maritime background
• Reviewing Electrical cable schedules
• Reviewing cable diagrams
• Preferably experience using CMPIC (main software used in this role)
Applies understanding of a range of design processes, tools, systems and techniques, and applies these to design or detail for assemblies, components or systems. Designs and develops solutions to common or well-articulated design situations, problems and issues.
Core Activity
• Ensure effective application of processes, including supporting the design, modifications and improvements in the following areas, in accordance with relevant standards and best practice:-
o LV Distribution, QPS and Electrical Safety
o LV Protection Systems and Earthing Systems
o LV Cabling and Cable routing
o Converted Supplies
o Portable Apparatus and Domestic Supplies
o Aviation Support
o General and Special Lighting
o Hull Preservation Systems
o Degaussing
