Who You Are As a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, you possess a minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience. Your leadership and management skills enable you to support others in developing effective risk management strategies. You must be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of the pre-employment process, unless you are already on the DBS Update Service. What the job involves In this role, you will manage a caseload of varying complexity with high autonomy, delivering exceptional services for the residents of Hillingdon. This includes mentoring, coaching, and supervising aspiring social workers while supporting vulnerable children and young people. You will conduct client interviews, assess issues, apply social work models, and create effective safety plans. You will also collaborate with council officers and agencies, prepare court proceeding reports, participate in panel processes, and contribute to team and service plans. Additionally, you will provide professional supervision to other Social Workers, promoting reflective practice and professional development.
