We are recruiting for an Operations Assistant, providing general support to the Executive Director of the business.
Responsibilities
Deal with emails in support of and as directed by the Executive Director.
Purchasing activities for both customer orders and general office / business purchases.
Oversee the smooth running of the office in support of the Executive Director.
Be responsible for IT equipment – liaising with the company external IT support.
Welcome visitors if required, including any arrangements (lunch, hotel etc).
Answering incoming phone calls and being able to discuss requirements in a friendly and polite manner, whether this be from a customer, supplier or colleague.
Requirements
A high level of attention to detail with discretion and excellent problem-solving skills.
Have own transport.
Ability to multitask, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines and achieve target.
To be able to work on own initiative in a small office environment and be pro-active in improvements which could benefit the operation and organisation of the company.
The candidate must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft office programmes such as Word & Excel.
Be self-motivated, confident, flexible and willing to assist in all aspects of the business if required.
Normal working hours: 37.5 Hours a week (5 days) (0830 – 1700 Daily with 1 hour for lunch)
£28,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience)
