This company is a market leader in its field and requires a high-calibre, technically strong professional to support this new phase of expansion by developing a best-in-class finance team, implementing robust reporting, and ensuring fit-for-purpose systems and processes. The successful candidate will lead on all technical financial matters, work closely with a forward-thinking CFO, and engage with the private equity stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial control function, ensuring a strong internal control environment. Oversee preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Direct the preparation of management and board reports, providing key financial insights. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering insights that drive business strategy. Lead and develop a high-performing team. Build strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. Skills & Attributes: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with training from a top-tier accountancy firm. Proven experience in financial accounting, statutory accounts preparation, and group reporting. Significant post-qualification experience in financial control, reporting, and team leadership. In-depth knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and corporate governance. Strong Excel, financial modelling, and analytical skills. Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a desire for career progression.
