You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of innovate systems and software used within the manufacturing sector. As a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be joining an established team that develop reliable, well-documented, and supportable systems. You will have a support network of Engineers that you can learn from and shadow, helping you progress your career and technical skill set. This role will be based on-site near Chesterfield to encourage collaboration and in-person interactions. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support embedded software System Testing New Product Development Product maintenance and improvement Produce and maintain clear technical documentation Requirements: Relevant education in Software Engineering, Electronics etc. Experience programming with C, C++, or similar low-level languages Microcontrollers Embedded systems and hardware knowledge Excellent communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Desirable Linux, control systems, Real Time Operating Systems, Testing, communication protocols Effectively, this role is responsible for contributing to the design and support of world-class products alongside the relevant teams.
