As an Arla Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring Cravendale milk reaches every morning cuppa, Skyr yoghurt fills breakfast bowls, and Anchor butter spreads smoothly on toast across the UK. Producing over 1 billion litres of milk annually, it’s central to Arla’s mission to feedthenation. What Do Our Engineers Do? Our engineers are hands-on problem solvers. They maintain, repair, and install the machinery that powers our production of high-quality, nutritious dairy products. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you’ll apply your expertise in engineering and manufacturing to support our high-performing team and optimise every aspect of our production facility. What You’ll Be Doing * Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on all dairy processing and packaging equipment * Maintaining a robust PPM system and ensuring compliance with flexibility and efficiency * Leading continuous improvement teams and facilitating lean manufacturing initiatives * Delivering planned maintenance across production lines using tools like TPM, RCM, FMEA, 5S, and Kaizen * Identifying and implementing improvements to boost OEE, quality, and health & safety standards What You’ll Bring * Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment * Familiarity with FMCG engineering and maintenance (desirable) * ONC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline * Strong communication skills and confidence working across all levels of the business This role involves a 42-hour rotating shift pattern, including both day and night shifts.
