The Role
We are seeking a creative and highly organised Formal Menswear Designer to support our team in the development and execution of our menswear collection. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of product areas including shirts, tailoring, outerwear and smart casualwear.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and product development for our men’s seasonal collections across casualwear, shirting, outerwear and tailoring in conjunction with the Head of Design.
* Conduct research into garment design, fabrics, trims, and seasonal trends to support range planning.
* Perform regular competitor analysis and contribute innovative ideas for new designs.
* Create CADs and detailed design packs for seasonal developments.
* Maintain visual range plans for internal and 3rd party clients.
* Attend fit sessions and actions changes in conjunction with technical team to further product refinement.
* Communicate with suppliers and internal departments in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
Skills & Qualifications
* Proficient in Excel and Word
* Candidates should have a degree in fashion or textile design, and ideally 3 years' experience in formal/smart menswear, a strong commercial and creative portfolio, and advanced skills in CAD and Adobe software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Proactive and enthusiastic, with a collaborative mindset
