Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate, Commercial & M&A

We’re looking for an experienced UK‑qualified solicitor to provide high‑quality legal advice across corporate, commercial and M&A matters, as well as supporting operational teams across the organisation. This is a senior, hands‑on role where you’ll influence strategic decisions, lead transactions and play a key part in our mission to deliver outstanding care.
What you’ll be doing
* Advising on acquisitions, disposals, restructures and financing transactions.
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements.
* Leading corporate due diligence and managing data rooms.
* Supporting disputes, complaints, operational and regulatory issues.
* Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
* Supervising and developing legal team members.
* Managing external counsel and ensuring excellent value and advice.
* Driving governance, compliance and maintaining legal templates, playbooks and policies.
About you
You’ll bring strong technical experience and a collaborative, solutions‑focused approach. We’re looking for:
* UK‑qualified solicitor with significant PQE (typically 8+ years).
* Experience across at least two of the following: corporate/M&A, commercial contracts, litigation, regulatory, data protection.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders.
* A proactive, pragmatic mindset and the ability to support fast‑moving operational teams.
