Pareto is currently seeking a Static Building Services Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for the timely completion of all maintenance and reactive tasks related to client assets. Serve as the first responder for all M&E and fabric issues.
2. Conduct regular inspections, including statutory, mandatory, and insurance inspections, to ensure the efficiency and safety of M&E installations such as fire safety, firefighting equipment, and security systems. Coordinate with client staff on specific requirements.
3. Maintain accurate records using computer-based management systems, including statutory testing, inspection records, technical files, reports, and drawings.
4. Perform maintenance on M&E services and installations, including electrical systems, heating, hot water systems, fire alarms, security systems, lifts, and other relevant systems.
5. Ensure all works meet quality standards, stay within budget, and satisfy key client requirements, providing regular updates to the Pareto FM Account Manager and client liaison.
6. Support subcontractors in routine and emergency maintenance, including out-of-hours work.
7. Assist in setting maintenance priorities, planning, and budgeting.
8. Contribute to the preparation of planned maintenance projects, including scheduling, specifications, ordering, and supervising works upon completion.
9. Provide technical M&E advice and support to the client as needed.
10. Collaborate with project professionals and contribute site and maintenance information for project work.
11. Work with the client and Pareto FM staff to develop and promote best practices in M&E maintenance and procedures.
12. Participate in site and property teams, providing technical input on security, health and safety, risk assessments, utilities, disaster planning, and other initiatives.
13. Assist in implementing the Asset Management Plan to guide maintenance across the estate.
14. Perform other related tasks as directed by the client and Pareto FM Account Manager.
15. Act as the primary contact for the client during issues and support business continuity tasks.
Key Skills:
* Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems.
* Previous experience as a Building Services Engineer.
* Ability to work independently with high-quality standards.
* Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
