Role Summary
We are recruiting a Manager – Healthcare Advisory to lead a variety of consulting projects across the NHS and other healthcare and government organisations. The role involves business case development, financial and economic analysis, modelling, and delivery of transformation programmes for infrastructure, service re‑design and capital investment.
Location
London (Canary Wharf), Birmingham and Manchester – flexible work arrangements are supported for certain projects.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to successful delivery of client engagements.
* Produce high quality reports and analytical solutions, including ownership of specific business case sections, financial analysis, and operating model components.
* Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and maintain contact with relevant client leads.
* Provide input for presentations, including business cases that comply with NHS and governmental requirements.
* Drive personal development and pursue extensive training opportunities at KPMG.
* Support business development through thought leadership, proposals, and pitches.
* Introduce innovative ideas to the team.
* Ensure engagement administration, compliance and risk management standards are adhered to.
* Define analytical and/or modelling requirements that solve strategic problems.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience delivering healthcare transformation engagements.
* Experience of major change programmes in healthcare (operating model development, care shift models, integration, transactions, or infrastructure projects).
* Business case or report writing experience for NHS or HM Treasury Green Book aligned cases.
* Experience designing and running change workshops with diverse stakeholders.
* Quantifying benefits and impacts of transformation programmes across care models, capital investment, restructuring and workforce initiatives.
* Knowledge of NHS business planning and forecasting (predictive analytics).
* Experience with large data sets, data presentation and visual storytelling (e.g., PowerBI, DAX).
* Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise within deadlines.
* Financial qualification or demonstrable quantification experience (economist or similar).
* Rapid assimilation of new techniques and knowledge.
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
