We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Team Leader on a full-time basis.
Requirements
Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience supporting individuals within care and either hold or be willing to work towards your SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care to be considered for the role.
About The Role
Our Team Leaders are classified as Front Line Management staff. Your responsibilities will include three main areas:
Staff Management
* Coaching and mentoring front line staff with appropriate support, including regular supervision.
* Identifying training needs and ensuring staff receive necessary training.
* Producing monthly rotas considering budget requirements, staffing hours, holiday cover, and absences.
* Developing staff ability to produce accurate support plans.
* Covering on-call shifts as needed.
Supported Individuals
* Planning and facilitating meetings with individuals and their support networks to gather information for effective support plans.
* Matching supported individuals to staff members based on goals and outcomes.
Organisational
* Liaising with external agencies such as families and Social Work Services.
* Ensuring compliance with SSSC, Care Inspectorate, and The Richmond Fellowship Scotland standards.
* Representing the values of The Richmond Fellowship Scotland when engaging with external agencies.
