Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our leadership team at this exciting new venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to motivate and lead a team. As the Deputy General Manager, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving the financial success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the General Manager in the strategic planning and execution of operational goals.
* Oversee daily operations across the bar, restaurant, and hotel, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
* Lead and manage the team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Train, mentor, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold our brand values.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
* Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the venue and attract new customers.
* Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar, restaurant, or hotel setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
* Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality sector.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
