ROLE SUMMARY The International Commercial Office will establish a commercial operating model for brepocitinib, a TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor. Our initial indication (pending regulatory approval) is focused on dermatomyositis, a rare chronic systemic autoimmune disease characterized by muscle weakness and skin rashes. Reporting to the ICO Specialty Care Commercial Vice-President, the Brepocitinib Commercial Lead will have an excellent opportunity to lead a high-performing team of marketers and collaborate with cross-functional teams, agency partners, and senior stakeholders to drive Brepocitinib’s commercial potential while addressing a significant burden of disease for Dermatomyositis patients. Key focus will be to drive commercial thought leadership on Brepocitinib brand strategy and launch strategy for the imminent Dermatomyositis launch and next lifecycle indications. The role requires demonstrated experience in global/regional marketing, launch excellence, commercial strategy and market development; as well as importantly, people management experience. Lead Brepocitinib International brand stewardship and manage robust lifecycle to drive value creation across indications Priority focus on the dermatomyositis launch strategy including market development, brand positioning and messaging, GTM recommendations, global filing plan and customer tailored strategies. Integral member of the Joint Venture partnership team enabling accelerated decision making and fostering a transparent and trusting environment Drive thought leadership on lifecycle commercial potential, including leading the GMT by collaborating closely with R&D, Regulatory, Global Access & Value, Global Medical Affairs, CSI, Customer Analytics & Insights, Finance, PGS. Systematically identifies, evaluates and executes incremental growth opportunities and leads the development of industry leading marketing and launch plans Develops capabilities in International, such as patient advocacy, policy, tendering, digital multi-channel marketing / customer engagement in collaboration with functional leads Supports countries to develop International (except Japan) Forecast revenue and OPEX, along with associated capital allocation Accountable for co-developing pipeline forecast and associated capital allocation recommendations for International Engages external stakeholders. Creates innovative solutions to expand patient base for the BU in International (except Japan). ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead strategy and aspiration to grow International (except Japan) Manages a team of BML and CCM to drive industry leading marketing Acts as a Pfizer Senior contact, connecting closely with Top KOLs in the Brepo Field Supports and develops budget re-allocations / incremental investment opportunities to the Int’l CO VP Represents International (except Japan) BU with cross-functional teams Leverage synergies and drive standardization across International (except Japan) of scaled initiative Accountable for product launches across International (except Japan) for the given category to ensure all goals are met Drives investment in brands and projects that have highest ROI In collaboration with ACLs, ensures excellence in execution of Strategies and Tactics across International (except Japan) Builds International (except Japan) strategies and portfolio management plans, ensures execution of commercial strategy/tactics to achieve marketing objectives that maximize portfolio and drive growth Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & global regulatory guidelines QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience in both Country and Regional/Global marketing teams across brand lifecycle Proven ability to lead and inspire teams and develop culture Ability to capture and share market insights, challenge forecasts, and constructively contribute to meeting targets Demonstrated successful track record in managing virtual teams and matrix. Broad knowledge and experience of the relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical environment across International Commercial/portfolio management experience, including accountability for revenues/operating expenses (P&L), asset allocation, value and cost driver decisions Demonstrated experience of developing colleagues and growing future leaders Senior Level executive presence and emotional intelligence to negotiate budgets and FTEs allocations ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Key stakeholders : Brand Marketing Lead, Customer Content Managers, Commercial Strategic Projects team, Area Commercial Leads, Medical Leads, Country Managers, Category Leads, Country Brand Leads, Enabling functions: Finance, PHI, Legal, Regulatory.
