Job Opportunity: Personal Assistant for Amelia
Capability Scotland is acting on behalf of our client, who is the legal employer. We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant for Amelia, a lively 12-year-old girl with Down's Syndrome, to support her activities and daily needs.
About Amelia
Amelia is non-verbal but communicates using sign language, including some of her own signs and British Sign Language. She enjoys outdoor activities, animals, movies, computer games, jigsaws, and helping with gardening and household tasks. She sometimes uses a wheelchair due to hypermobility issues.
Role Details
The role involves supporting Amelia for 6 hours per week during term time and 12 hours during school holidays. The preferred schedule includes support on Saturdays or Sundays, with additional flexible hours during the week.

Additional Information
