This is a great opportunity to join a national law firm, with a supportive team and quality work.</p><p>Focusing on client and matter take‑on, as the firm looks to expand a new conflicts function splitting their current generalist compliance team. This is a team with great opportunity for internal progression, as multiple managers in the team have progressed from analyst to manager.</p><p>Now looking for someone to move into a truly technical advisory role.</p><h3>The role</h3><ul><li>Be the first point of contact for conflict queries from legal teams.</li><li>Provide strategic advice on conflicts of interest, compliance, and reputational risk.</li><li>Investigate and resolve complex conflicts issues on new and existing mandates.</li><li>Support training, documentation, and process improvements across the team.</li><li>Review and analyse conflict reports to identify potential legal or commercial risks.</li><li>Advise on new instructions, changes in scope, and lateral hires in line with firm policies.</li><li>Collaborate with partners and fee earners to resolve conflicts and, as necessary, escape them.</li><li>Maintain systems such as Intapp and Blackbook, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.</li><li>Assist with drafting conflicts‑related policies, templates, and internal communications.</li></ul><h3>About you</h3><ul><li>4+ years in Legal Compliance, specifically focused in Conflicts.</li><li>Strong knowledge of professional conflicts rules UK wide.</li><li>Practical experience preventing, managing and identifying conflicts.</li><li>Analytical and communication skills.</li><li>Experience with Intapp.</li></ul><h3>Whats in it for you</h3><ul><li>Join a growing compliance team, working closely with partners, lawyers, and other business stakeholders.
