Overview
The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education is seeking to appoint a Clinical Skills and Simulation Tutor to support learning and teaching activities across a range of curricula. The post holder will join an existing team, be aligned to the Clinical Simulation Centre and develop links across a range of practice placements. The post is full time (1 FTE) and permanent, based at the Glyntaff Campus.
Responsibilities
* Teach a range of students in clinical simulation, classroom settings and practice settings.
* Collaborate with the Clinical Simulation Centre and develop links across practice placements.
* Utilise current clinical knowledge and skills in teaching and learning activities.
Requirements
* Registered healthcare practitioner with active professional registration with an appropriate professional body.
* Experience as a practitioner with confidence to teach across multiple settings.
Employment arrangements
* If you are successful and this is your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales. Internal professional services candidates will continue to be employed by the University of South Wales.
