About the role
Are you a friendly and child-centred person? Are you passionate about supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs? We have several vacancies for an Teaching Assistant Level 2 to work within primary or specialist schools in Blackburn.
1. The overarching purpose of the role is to work with pupils who have learning difficulties usually with a statement of Special Educational Needs.
2. The ideal Teaching Assistant Level 2 will be prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ to support young people with additional requirements and support.
3. You will be required to prepare and adapt materials suitable for pupils with learning difficulties to use in class.

As an Teaching Assistant Level 2, you would be required to meet the holistic needs of the pupils under the direction of the class teacher and senior staff.
There are opportunities for roles to become a permanent position after a qualifying period is worked.

Salary
£375 to £425 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

8. Have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
