About the role

A position has arisen in our busy Communications and Marketing team for a creative professional to lead the production and delivery of high-quality social media content, with a particular focus on creating and editing video. The role plays a key part in promoting council services, engaging with residents and supporting the delivery of effective marketing campaigns.

What will you be doing?

You will plan, create and deliver engaging video content to support council priorities and marketing campaigns. You will take a lead role in idea generation and content planning, and be responsible for ensuring all videos are accessible, on‑brand and optimised for their intended audiences.

As well as being creative you will need to be pragmatic and flexible and able to deal with challenges when they arise.
