About the Job
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support on various HR-related matters. Your role will involve addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment laws, and participating in recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. This role is based in Hawarden with regular travel to Westbury and Halesowen.
Role Responsibilities
* Employee Relations: Resolve employee relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, and grievances.
* Workplace Relationships: Collaborate with management and employees to enhance relationships, boost morale, productivity, and retention.
* HR Policy Guidance: Offer guidance and interpretation on policies and procedures.
* Training Needs: Identify training needs and develop training programs.
* Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process with the HR team or hiring managers.
* Onboarding Assistance: Contribute to onboarding for new employees.
* Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs.
* Performance Management Support: Assist in performance management processes.
* Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
* Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
* Employee Engagement Initiatives: Participate in engagement programs and surveys.
* Conflict Resolution: Mediate workplace conflicts, conduct investigations when needed, and provide guidance on disciplinary actions.
* Continuous Learning: Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends.
* Data Analysis: Use HR analytics to generate reports and insights for decision-making.
* Policy Development and Updates: Contribute to development, updating, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Job Requirements / Education
* A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent, e.g., CIPD level 5) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is typically preferred.
* Relevant experience in Human Resources.
* Familiarity with recruitment processes, including posting, screening, interviewing, and selection.
* Proven ability to resolve employee relations issues.
* Familiarity with a manufacturing environment (desirable).
* Flexibility to travel as required to Halesowen and Hawarden.
