LTF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our partner primary school located in the Birmingham B66 area. The primary school are searching for a Behaviour Mentor to join their inclusive and dedicated team to support with the progress and development of all students, including SEN students.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with special educational needs, supporting them to develop academically, socially and emotionally
Supporting students on a 1-1 basis and in small groups, preparing and delivering targeted interventions
Collaborate with the classroom teacher and SENDCO to discuss student's progress/concerns
Encourage active participation and engagement with learning and peers
Foster positive relationships with both students and staff
Support the classroom teacher to create appropriate and engaging resources dependent on student needsRequirements:
Relevant experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
A relevant qualification/degree is desirable
A passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs to overcome challenges and barriers to learning & development
