Job summary
You will be an effective member of the Gynaecology Ultrasound team. You will be providing the highest standard of Gynaecology Ultrasound service to patients in our expanding Non-Obstetric Ultrasound Service, working autonomously in a community setting.
The role will be Monday to Friday
Main duties of the job
* You will provide a high standard of work as set by the service regarding the quality of Ultrasound examinations and ensure that the Ultrasound examination of patients is carried out efficiently, maintaining standards and minimizing patient wait times.

Job description
* Assist other Sonographers in maintaining service provision.
* Ensure regular quality control tests and report malfunctions.
* Always prioritize patient welfare and comfort.
* Coordinate with Referral Management Centre to provide written communication to the referring GP within 2 days of the appointment.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
* Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Medical Ultrasound, or a relevant international qualification.
Experience (Essential)
* Performed and reported at least 900 ultrasound scans in the last 12 months, maintaining CPD.
* Meet National Occupation Standards for imaging of anatomical areas.
* English proficiency: native or passed English language exam per HPC standards.
* UK registered sonographer on the HCPC/SOR register.
About you (Essential)
* Patient safety and satisfaction are core; candidates should be compassionate, motivated, attentive, and uphold high integrity and excellence.
* Must have a driving license and own car, and be flexible with working arrangements.
