My client is a leading professional services firm with several sites across the UK, seeking a new member for their prudential risk team to work across their 1st and 2nd line risk functions. The role involves covering aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key part in implementing their prudential risk framework to support clients.
The position offers flexibility for remote work, with occasional visits to the London, Birmingham, or Manchester offices.
As the business expands, they aim to build their Prudential risk team to maintain strong relationships with some of the UK's largest financial services firms. The candidate should be able to:
* Understand Prudential Regulations to write policies that meet regulatory requirements.
* Be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified.
* Be comfortable working between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense.
* Have exposure to credit risk, liquidity risk, or operational risk frameworks, and be able to handle ICAAP and ILAAP reporting.
* Build relationships across business areas to ensure policies are properly embedded.
* Work closely with senior management and business users to implement policies.
* Challenge users to ensure policy adherence.
