Primary Remit
Support the Directors in future-proofing the business by driving forward greater administrative controls and safeguard cross-functional communications and co-ordination.
What We Need
* Market intelligence, data capture and analysis, supplier relationship management, strategic procurement, supply and SLA negotiations, supply and demand operational planning with built-in contingency measures, regulatory compliance of transport and storage of hazardous materials.
* Upgrade standing with bulk suppliers to encourage favourable price points and enhance delivery schedules to aid onward supply chain operations.
You Should Bring
* Knowledge of UK and overseas inbound and outbound bulk freight certifications relative to volatile substances.
* Evidence of initiating new process methodologies and continuous improvement implementation for the benefit of all departments.
* A calm and level‑headed demeanour who can see and think clearly in the face of adversity and adapt when geo‑political shocks occur.
* Proven ability to identify, monitor and adjust to trends as they begin to occur, rather than react after the event.
