One Construction Group is proud to be partnering with one of the UKs longest-established consultancies in their search for an exceptional Expert Witness / Claims Lead. This is a rare dual-role opportunity where your expertise in quantity surveying and disputes will directly shape high-value outcomes both in courtrooms and on complex client claims.
If you're a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with a strong foundation in claims, disputes, and expert witness work, this is your chance to lead, influence, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
As Expert Witness:
* Provide impartial, independent expert witness services across litigation, arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.
* Analyse and interpret case evidence, produce persuasive reports, and contribute to joint statements.
* Attend legal conferences and respond to cross-examinations with clarity and confidence.
As Claims Lead
* Lead and mentor a team of professionals in claims management and dispute resolution.
* Strategically guide the claims process: compile documentation, coordinate evidence, and drive outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with clients, legal teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex commercial issues.

Key Skills And Experience
* MRICS chartered status is essential.
* Extensive quantity surveying and commercial claims experience.
* Proven expert witness background (adhering to Civil Procedure Rules).

* Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
* A collaborative, client-first mindset with integrity at your core.
