TREATS is an in-house developed treasury trading system running on an iSeries platform from multiple global data centres. It supports front-to-back processing of treasury products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Vanilla Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
In this role, you will:
1. Lead the UK TREATS team and work closely with the global TREATS team to deliver change to the system in line with business priorities.
2. Be accountable for enabling the technical development of products and services.
3. Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams responsible for the delivery, ongoing success, and continuous improvement of products.
4. Ensure compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework, and technical standards, in collaboration with the architecture team.
5. Manage UK-based resources across two locations (London and Sheffield), including performance reviews, pay reviews, timesheet approvals, leave, mandatory training, recruitment, and team tracking updates.
6. For major programmes, maintain budgets, prepare status reports, and chair steering committee meetings.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
1. Knowledge of TREATS or similar Treasury trading systems and their functions.
2. Experience working on IBM I operating system is advantageous.
3. Knowledge of Treasury products such as FX, Derivatives, Swaps, futures, etc.
4. Project management experience on large-scale IT projects or programmes.
5. Background in SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
6. Proven track record of delivering change management projects with good understanding of platform processing and interactions.
